Program a universal remote for me with their rear entertainment remote? I’ll order and send the universal remote to you…you program yours into it and make sure the universal remote works on your system and then ship me the universal remote?

I’ll pay for shipping to me of course. Would be much cheaper than buying a new Toyota remote.

TIA!

is the remote coding same for the LX? we could try, I actually live in Greenville SC now but am up there every week.

could someone walk you through this over the phone instead of all the shipping?

Need this as well! Maybe we can start a pay-it-forward scenario ;)

Who takes the OEM 😑😂

Does anyone know the brand and model of the head units/dvd players/screens?

I found this picture on eBay for a 2008. Trying to locate codes and working with Logitech on identifying. They could not locate a Fujitsu BT015A.

Have you seen this thread? In the text, someone with a 2011 said it worked for them. Also, someone with an LX said it worked for them, i suspect all the offers for help with an lx might work as well. I have a later 2010 LX remote on hand.

Seems like that One For All is NLA, but i suspect the project could be stoked with a new remote. I doubt the bin file could be directly copied to a new remote, but possibly it could be adapted...probably just easier to do the whole thing again with a new readily available remote.

If nothing else, it sort of proves that while the remotes are different the coding seems to be the same across many models.

I searched for that remote for a while last night. 😂

I agree…it can be done, but figuring it all out!
Thanks for the help…looking at all angles before I drop coin on a remote.

I have a late 2010 LX remote and would be willing to help if a universal remote can be identified. It appears the same codes work over many years and both LX and LC.

I believe the second thread uses a remote scanner and actually documents the codes. Possibly that has enough data to program a remote without having an original.

Do you have a picture of that remote?

I might have found one from a 2013, but can’t verify it would work. It LOOKs the same, but different part number.

I think the LC remote is pretty different, but that one thread said that the same codes in that universal remote worked for both LC and LX and over a few different years. There are 2 part numbers for 2010 LX for remotes, mine is the later part number.
