Gave this a shot with some thin felt circular stickies on all the rubber touch points on the arm rest - both the top and bottom clamshell openings - success!
Excellent recommendation @DesmoPilot!
Did you notice it affects the cool box's ability to seal when it's being run? It's used often on road trips and I'd have to alter anything and impact its ability to cool properly/leak.
Glad to hear I'm not alone, was beginning to think I was just that anal.
I'm going to examine the armrest this evening and see if I can pinpoint anything else that might be causing the creak.
Seems like no one else has this resolved yet...
Anyone ever have a creaky armrest in their 2016+ truck?
Anytime someone rests their arm on the passenger side of the truck's armrest it creaks incessantly and is driving me nuts. I can't seem to pinpoint what part is causing this creak.
Before I go down the rabbit hole of just attempting to...
Anyone else having tailpipe rip rust starting to form on their 2016+ LC’s?
Washed our 2018 today and noticed it seems to be starting and found it odd.
Curious what others are seeing on their exhaust tips.
A fellow WIS, and from what I can see on delivery day and in the driveway a Macan sneaking around as well - show us the goods!
Congrats on the HE, I'm sure you and your wife will find many miles enjoyed in the truck. Nothing quite like a LC.
Our 2018 is only at 80K miles, but looking forward to a minimum of 250K miles of enjoyment. Hoping for at least 500K miles...
I'm planning on adding a 2016+ LX570 in the near future as well. Gotta scoop the last of the V8's up while they're still around.
It's quite the vehicle, that's for sure. I've heard of many folks going from a GT4, to a GT3, only to come back to a GT4. That has to say something about the car I'd imagine.
What's the spec on yours aside from the exterior color?
2018 Land Cruiser for her (recently acquired and we both really love this truck)
2020 Equinox for me (not pictured, company car, should I ever lose this benefit I'll likely snag a 2016+ LX570 for me)
2016 GT4 is the toy for now (991.1/991.2 GT3s have been tempting me lately, going to try and...
What's the differences in the radiator? I have a "2018" LC that has a manufacture date of late 2017 so I assume I'm safe from this recall for the time begin as well. But this updated radiator has me intrigued.
The fun car slot is already filled, and likely isn't being vacated any time soon, the GT4 works great for us.
The requirement for my vehicle is it has to fit a large dog. When the wife is away at work with the 200, I need to be able to pack up a dog (or two) in the case of an emergency.
The main reason I’m looking at the pick up aspect is for house projects, hauling, and cabin space. The 38 gallon fuel tank is a huge thing too for when I’d use it to road trip. I work from home, so it won’t be used as a daily commuter and fuel economy doesn’t scare me much. I’m actually looking...
Recent life events may have me in the position of finding a personal vehicle for myself again (company cars are great and all, but only while you're in the role that provides them!).
I just scored a great deal on a 2018 LC for my wife about a month or so ago, which has really turned us both on...
Apologize for the delay, but here’s pictures of the newly acquired 200! (Complete with the pup!)
It’s going to be a great road trip, daily, and dog hauling vehicle. We’re already big fans of the 200 in general after a few weeks of ownership.
