I understand that 285/75r16 tires will fit without any additional modifications, but I'm curious if dropping AHC into L causes them to rub? I imagine the answer is 'yes' but haven't found a clear answer. I park on a declined driveway and AHC likes to often make adjustments, and would like to...
Yep I ended up replacing all 3. They work as expected although I still haven't quite dialed in the right pressures to bring the rear down quite as far as it needs to.
Lexus part number 51990-60010. Purchased directly from the Lexus dealership. I put it on the vehicle and took it off without every using it - chose to add an undermount trailer hitch instead. Item is new and in perfect condition. Includes four bolts shown in photo. Fits the in-bumper hitch found...
In great condition, replaced with Prinsu rack a couple years ago and has sat in the attic since. I have both long rails, cross rails, and all 4 caps. Very few scratches and ne cap has a small chip in the inside portion of it (meaning not visible) to others. Happy to include the bolts, as well...
I hear you, totally do. At the moment, the rear is what seems to have a mind of its own. Most often it moves to a lower LO position than I've seen before and seems to grind something underneath when I drive like that. When it occasionally sits in N or HI it doesn't happen.
I ordered a rear...
I've seen that many people have had success using a BT OBD reader + Android app to read AHC pressures, etc. ( ie. more than the basics) but has anyone had success using the OBD reader with an iOS app to get this level of data? I recognize the OBD needs to be WiFi instead of BT for iOS. Thanks!
Ah you're right...I should have known! $5 could be the least expensive part I buy for this thing...
I'm open to replacing them but I guess you're saying any corrosion is likely a non-starter. I'm waiting for the Techstream to arrive so I haven't gotten to the point of adjusting T-bars, etc...
I too ran into corrosion of springs in 2 of 3 height sensors and was having issues with AHC. I cleaned them to the best of my abilities but the same issues persist. Before I purchase 2 new sensors I was hoping to get a bit of help figuring out how to do the battery test. I have the 3 AAs...
Good question - the dash light blinks when I try to switch to Hi or Lo and hasn't shown OFF ever. I bought the vehicle ~2 years ago and while it would occasionally move between Hi and Lo without my touching anything, it's only been in the last month or two that it starting behaving this way. I...
Thanks to the wonderful information shared here over the years, I successfully flushed and replaced AHC fluid that was probably original (165k miles). Unfortunately, I'm still running into issues with the AHC and not sure how to isolate what to address next.
Prior to the flush, the vehicle...
Fair question - I bought it with the running boards already removed. Fortunately, the previous owner still had them only without the bolts. I did take a peek underneath and can't see the bolts there. M8 sounds good - any idea on length? Thanks for the response!
I want to put the running boards (I know, I know) back on my 2004 LX470…kids need the help getting in and eventually I’ll replace with sliders. One of the brackets is missing plus all the bolts. Can someone point me in the right direction? Hopefully I can pick up the bolts at Home Depot but not...
