Ok, so this is probably a stupid question. I plan to go on road trip and sleep in the car. Being in the car with the smart key would basically enable anyone to unlock the car by just touching the handle. How can I disable smart key while I am sleeping in the car? Thanks

I should have specified that I have a LC200. Definitely too close to the roof.

Learn from my mistakes folks. I ordered the 15 series thinking compatibility with frontrunner accessories and such and the bar is too thick and touching the roof :mad:. It doesn't work. So now I am stuck with a bunch of series 15. Ugh!!!

I bought the 15 extruded aluminium and tried to install a cross bar on the factory roof rack. What I find is that the bottom of the cross bar is flush with the roof with no load on it. I think adding the load will cause the bar to brush against and scratch the roof. Am I the only one with this...

You are indeed correct. Headroom is really tight. After removing the seats, I can only build a seating platform that is 5 inches high before hitting the roof (I am 5'10"). I was hoping to use the space below the platform for storage but 5 inches isn't much. This is a problem.
