Hey all, my cruiser just hit 340k and still running great after a big job replacing the engine wire harness #2 after some squirrels made a nest in there last year. I am gearing up to do some work on the brakes and figured I'd get in and address some rusty and leaky front end components that...
Rolled 340k, had a beer and changed the oil for probably the 100th time. Need to rebuild the steering rack on this thing though that's where she leaks.
Hey all,
Still trying to route these remaining wires back from the engine bay (Engine Room No. 2) through the firewall to the upper dash on the passenger side. I am having extreme difficulty landing the remaining connectors (IW1 & IW2 and an unknown black connector). Seats, dash center and...
Hey all,
I ordered the replacement harness (Main Engine No.2) from Cruiserparts.net. Once I removed the master brake cylinder, charcoal canister and driver side dash & components and loosened up the brake lines, I was able to get the old harness out and route the new one through the driver's...
Hey all,
I haven't been driving my LC much since moving to Texas pretty much just been using it for trips to CO & NM every couple months. I noticed when I started it up the other day a lot of the gauges weren't working. Found a whole squirrel nest burrowed up around the main wire harness trunk...
Hi guys!
I'm looking to upgrade my tires and wheels on my 2000 cruiser. I've beefed it up with the ARB front bumper, 4x4labs rear bumper and rock crushers over the past year. I have the OME 2" lift kit on there as well. Currently running the Bigfoot ATs (265/75R16) on the stock 16" rim...
Got the 4x4 Labs swingout bumper for my 2000 Cruiser. Took the original bumper off today and found some RUST!!
Gonna have to put some work in on these, hopefully can get them unstuck and save the frame rails from the rust. Good news is the install instructions call for cutting off 2-3" of the...
When I did the work on the hubs, I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I hung the brake calibers with a bungie so I don't think I damaged specifically there. I'll probably get those clamps and throw them on there.
I've got a 100 Series Cruiser with 295k, and just upgraded with OME suspension this year started doing some of my own work on it. I re-greased and repacked the front hubs for the first time a few weeks ago and just noticed some grease squeezing out of this spot on the axle on both sides. My gut...
I am looking to get some Fender Flares to cover the rust on my 2000 LC (292k) and to keep brush from getting stuck in the siding. Hoping to find a used set, so I can spend on some nice sliders instead. Does anyone have some laying around??
