It looks like NC shares reciprocity with VA, so you’re good there. Then it’s an issue of carrying in a Nat’l Forrest. Quick glance looks like it’s ok as long as it’s allowed in the state the forest is in.

It was supposed to be a standalone bill to expedite funding and separate from a combined U.S. border-security/Ukraine/Israel bill that was really just weighted towards another metric s***-ton of money to Ukraine.

Fun fact: I’m not aware of any state in the Union that prohibits open or concealed carry on a llama…

Well over half the states in the Union allow open carry, most people just don’t know about it and hardly ever see it. NC was open carry when I first got there 20+ yrs ago.

Gotcha…looked up a picture of it. If that‘s the safe that you really like and checks off all your other needs better than any others, I think you could probably solve the fluted back issue with some plastic sheeting and gorilla tape. Honestly though, since we’re in a pretty temperate climate...
