am I smoking "crack" assuming there is a solution to the noise I'm referring to above? It seems I may be. Later on If I cant solve it, the slide may just have to come out....to annoying to listen to while driving.

so far it makes a rattling type noise, and I'm not able to pin point where its coming from. But looking at this thing....there just seem to be too many places where the top frame can rub the bottom frame. (both parts metal). Where thats in a side to side type motion or kind of a front to back...

looks good, I've got sidelined screwing around with the ARB slide for a few weeks, on to other things for a bit. The noise generation from the slide is hard to tolerate over time (the one I have).

yeah two welded up boxed frames that slide one on top of the other. it seems to rattle left to right and front to back. Even though you can't rock it when locked in the stow position sitting still (manually trying to leverage it), as I have it "wedged" now...but sound issues are still there...

Yea thanks. The ARB stuff seems rather fragile. I think I'll focus first on the electrical side and then get my stuff set as to location (tank / compressor) then on to the air side. I was thinking there has to be some focus on protecting the air hose side both from heat / too much flex or not...

I've got a collection of parts, to include a tank. Good tips appreciated. I found some type of bulkhead fittings too, but those might have to go. The idea of using air line from "semi-truck" world is rather appealing. thanks
