    Melted rear diff/abs wiring harness

I mentioned that during my dealer visit and the tech seemed to think this was a big no no. Thank you for your response because that was one thing I was planning on doing tomorrow AM before I head out. Cheers.

    Melted rear diff/abs wiring harness

Welp it happened to me today, 450 miles into my 780 mile leg of my trip from NY to FL, I got the abs and rear diff light. Thanks to this forum I was able to quickly find threads relating to this issue even with spotty service in a sheetz parking lot. Sure enough the exhaust leak had melted the...

    Blower motor connector

1998 100 series. When I search for the correct part I can't readily identify that it has the correct connector. Wasn't sure if this was common for an aftermarket and if there was an adaptor. I will keep looking, surely I am not the only one to run into this.

    Blower motor connector

Trying to replace my blower motor and the VDO motor I snagged off rockauto has a totally different connector. Wondering if there is a specific adapter I can buy or if I should return and grab a different motor. I haven't really been able to find anything by searching so I was hoping someone...

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Just ordered some 4mm rivets so wish me luck.

    Windshield Rivet

Definitely trying to find a solution that doesn't involve welding and grinding as the new windshield is in. The rivnuts is an interesting idea in addition to the larger rivet.

**Windshield -need to Replace- DFW area

Well I would argue against safelite as I just spent a week fixing their mistakes. Find a local shop and chat with them about the process first. Set the expectation that oem rivets are used and that any rust is taken care of while the windshield is out. You really don't want to have to fix it...

    Windshield Rivet

I recently tackled the rust surrounding my windshield and boy am I glad I did. After much grinding and painting the windshield and molding are in but I am having trouble with the three lower rivet holes on the drivers side moulding. They don't fit snug and keep popping out, but just those three...

That makes a whole lot of sense, I appreciate you sharing.

Urgent advice needed on rough running/misfire!

The only code I have gotten was a few weeks ago and it was cyl 6 misfire which went away with a coil pack replacement. I have a code reader and there is nothing currently. Cold start is easy and immediate but its the warm start that needs two or three cranks but eventually fires and runs strong...

Urgent advice needed on rough running/misfire!

**UPDATE** So I was finally able to replace all of my coils (OEM) and the problem still persists. Currently the coils and the coolant temp sensor have been replaced as well as the started (about 5k ago) and the trouble starting while hot still persists. While I replaced the coils I pulled the...

Urgent advice needed on rough running/misfire!

Got a code reader and I had a cylinder 6 misfire. Replaced the coil and it runs great but still needs extra cranks when warm.

Urgent advice needed on rough running/misfire!

Coils were aftermarket junk apparently. Cylinder 6 misfire so I snagged a new coil and it is back to normal. So far with the new coolant temp sensor and coil it fires right up even when warm. Fingers crossed this fixes it! Thanks everyone for their input.
