Took off wheels, played with the tie rods, they seemed fine. I twisted, I pushed , I pulled. No movement. I think steering rack is the last option to replace. I poste d a thread but anyone weigh in when installing a new rack, wise to put in whiteline bushings as well? not sure the downside...

looks like my steering rack needs replacing. is it wise? normal when putting in a new OEM rack to also just install whiteline bushings at same time? from what I've heard, they last longer better steering response. Not sure the downside?

Where it sits now it makes the trailer wider . Also more weight on one side than the other. Not a clean look either But you are right any bracket to sit on the V or even on only one part of the V would make it sit hight and need some adjustment to t he trailer top "lip"
