Following up on this thread. Pz10420, did you figure out the issue? Any others recently install a Compustar or Viper? My '98 is at the local professional installer. They are having challenges with the Viper install. They claim it worked three times, but now it won't crank over.

That’s interesting. This was very important to me as well. I hated the Toyota infotainment when it was new, so my search was limited to a 98 so I could do a double din swap. I’ve had wireless Apple Car Play since 2018 or 2019. I have a pioneer unit. I like the Kenwood units slightly more.

Interesting… looks like the pics have it with separate temp controls like I have on my ‘98. Normally the 03+ have integrated temp controls, right?

We really like the Roadhouse Tarp. We got the one with the bug netting. It’s a pretty great solution for us. We camped last summer on Ocracoke Island, and the strong winds meant I was frequently bringing it down, then putting it back up.
