I'm trying to fix mine right now using a plastic welder. So far so good, we'll see how it holds up!

I tried unplugging the Diff Lock ECU and the center differential still isn't working, so I'll try to tackle that first.

Following up 11 years later... I finally did my axle again. The hubs came right off. I couldn't tell that I had used this stuff at all. Spindles looked fine. Some normal wear on them. So, probably not worth using a bearing retainer.

Got a used hood I picked up after my 80 got hail damaged. Was planning to paint and use it, but kind of don't care anymore. In good shape but needs paint if you want it to look nice. Its like a bluish silver color. $150 picked up. I'm in the Golden area.

That has to be for the whole ECU. The capacitors are like $1.

Pretty easy to do if you're handy with a soldering iron. This fix is still holding up for me.
