I think that should be good, in this video, I used 2" for the sides and 1" for the crank. I was just following the first post on this thread. I think they used 2" and .75", but as long as the crank handle still lines up, I guess that's all that matters.

I recently changed out the bulbs to LED on the wife's LX450. I made a quick YouTube video showing how to do it. It's super easy once you see how to take it off.
