Does anyone have the width of the Planted bracket? I got a steal on manual heated seats out of a 2011 Jetta and I don't really have fab skills so I expect my easiest course here will be Planteds and steel plates, just hoping to do some drawing and planning before I order the brackets

So I drove it quite a bit yesterday and the a/c worked without issue, and I didn't see the clutch slip when I looked again - maybe it was just "settling in" after the install?
Edit: Mud doesn't like the video format my phone made so it won't post. The green arrows point to the outer part of the...
Hey all, reviving this thread in hopes to get some advice. I've been having intermittent a/c issues and thought I'd identified it as a clutch issue vs a full compressor issue. When engaged the clutch would slip, causing the air to blow warm.
I replaced the clutch with a new Toyota OEM unit and...

Both headlights and brackets off my '95 80 Series. The trim I rattle-canned in black a while back. Not in the best of shape (see pics) but includes bulbs and all the lights work.
Factory sun visors from the same truck, tan interior. Lights and bulbs are good, although you'll need to salvage...
Good news: no start issue has been solved.
Embarrassing news: the issue was a very mildly broken clip in the harness; hidden behind the "cooler stabilizer amplifier" (whatever that is) was a male and female clip in the wiring harness that was plugged in but had been broken so it couldn't...
I'm still stuck dealing with this issue and I don't know where else to go.
I ended up towing it to a shop who's owner drives an 80 and has a good reputation for electrical issues. In about 3 hours they called and told me the ECU was bad, as they were able to knock it a bit and get the truck to...
Yeah I found a Tampa Area Group on here I just reached out on; looks like I can get an ECU on ebay for $100-150 so hopefully I can test with a good one and find out prior to getting one.
