Doesn‘t exactly answer your question, but mounted a Bundutec awning to my Bundutec tent, rather than the rack. Looked at the option of mounting the awning to my Bowfin rack and it was definitely doable. Mounting to the tent got the awning up a little higher.

Brand new OEM short block seems to still be available based on quick google search. Used one for my engine rebuild a couple years ago. Makes me smile every time I start up my Cruiser.

I’ve been very happy so far with these cheap pop up lanterns from Amazon. They were on sale even cheaper one day. Put out a surprising amount of light. Use them around the ranch as well as when camping.
