Driving the Continental Divide Trail from Mexico to Canada. Got a check engine light pulling the hill from Lake City up to Slumgullion Pass.

Pulled Code P0300

NOT hearing any misfires or knocking. Engine runs great. Idles great. Oil pressure and temps are perfect per real gauges.

Keep clearing code but check engine light and code keep returning within minutes.

Fairly recent engine rebuild, wires, harness is tied up from EGR etc.

Anything to worry about? Bad sensor?

Thanks. Y’all know how it is to get these codes in the middle of nowhere! Lol.

P0300 is a misfire. I have had it happen to me before when i was hammering it up a hill in the rain. Reset and it went away. If it keeps coming back your gonna need to check plugs and wires to start with.
