What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Finally got around to redo the previous owners air gauge install, and coupled it with an isolator override switch. (Monetary "boost" function or latching "winch") Will probably make a few more versions before I am completely happy but this will do! Left USB outlet shows main and aux battery V...

    Great! Thanks for that!

Builds Redarc Redvision Rouge - Ultimate aux battery setup?

Thanks for the quick reply! And that cable seems very reasonable, and what I have myself sourced for the task. I was talking aboutabout the gauge for the wire that goes to and from the button. ( Sorry for not being clear enough.) In my case it will be roughly 15-20feet as it needs to go to and...

Builds Redarc Redvision Rouge - Ultimate aux battery setup?

Very nice! Great to see more Redarc cars being assembled! Question regarding the battery link/start battery wiring. What gauge did you use? As it tends to be rather long, and is fused with a 5A it ought to be rather thick imho, or am I overthinking it?

Yes of course, it's just that I have no idea how much warmer, ie if it's 190F I would guess we get up to just around 140F around here. As we don't get temps near the hottest regions in the states, I can only give you my personal experience so far, but I agree that nylon might be a better bet...

    Builds Benjamin’s 3D Prints Build

I installed my printed version this summer, I think I printed it with ASA but can have a look tomorrow. So far it shows no signs of warping or cracking as the PLA prototype did after a few days in the sun. We had about 95°F here, don't know what the temp in the car was but no problems as...

    Builds Benjamin’s 3D Prints Build

That one has been covered in another thread, and as far as I remember one of the companies making the mirrors threatened to sue the manufacturer of the 3D printed mount.. Since then I have made my own, but would love to have a finished product, preferably with a way to hide the cables. Will...

It's pretty much what you have in your picture, just that mine is mirrored so the ashtray is on the right side. My idea was if you could make a whole new piece so that the two cigarette outlets are further left, did a quick photoshop edit attached. (It looks terrible I know) Otherwise I guess...

    Builds Benjamin’s 3D Prints Build

Hi Ben, have been following this thread for quite some time and am really amazed by your work! Is this project still up and running? I have quite a few things I would like to have custom made to fit here as my car has had owners before me with different ideas on how to mount things. As it is...

Wiring a relay to a Warn Zeon 10-S winch and Redarc BCDC/SB212 Isolator.

Are you talking about the contactors on the winch? If so, I have 5 cables/pins, not three. The contactors you are talking about are the ones from the winch solenoid to the motor right? I was thinking I should not connect anything to those?

Wiring a relay to a Warn Zeon 10-S winch and Redarc BCDC/SB212 Isolator.

I would agree that it should stay on the entire time. I do have a TJM 500A switch/disco between the battery and winch positive. That was my plan. And would you think it's the white wire looking at Slee's diagram? It wouldn't be too hard to wire it like that instead of like Redarc has drawn on...

Wiring a relay to a Warn Zeon 10-S winch and Redarc BCDC/SB212 Isolator.

But if that's the case, why go to the trouble of writing up that wiring diagram? Isn't there a point in having some kind of signal from the winch activate it? I have been thinking about putting a latching switch inside the car for winching as an option to this. As I have a momentary switch for...

Wiring a relay to a Warn Zeon 10-S winch and Redarc BCDC/SB212 Isolator.

You are correct gnob, the button on the iso overrides it so that the winch uses both batteries instead of just the starter. peesalot: Isn't the winch hooked up to 86 on the relay, and that closes the circuit to 87 when there is winch operation hence overriding the isolator? What I am wondering...

Wiring a relay to a Warn Zeon 10-S winch and Redarc BCDC/SB212 Isolator.

Hi Guys, I am wondering if anyone knows how to connect a relay to the Warn winches according to the attached wiring diagram? That is, what cable from the Warn winch goes to the blue one in the diagram? I have asked Warn, and they tell me to ask the local auto sparky, and the local auto sparky...

    Slee in-cab winch control

Hi Guys, Sorry for bringing up this old post, but I have a Warn Zeon Winch and need to find what wire to connect to a relay in order for it to bypass my Redarc Isolator. Warn does not want to tell me this, and refers to my local auto sparky, and they in turn refer to the Swedish Warn...
