that is true , the differential housing can carry quit a bit oil Due to the internal seals. well i got it all back together looks better then it did

Well I cut the spring perches off last night . I plan on remounting them today. I see what you are saying about the getting oil to the pinion bearings. I haven't had any vibration problem in the past.

I have a 1969 FJ40 with Diamond axels and a SOA setup the rear pinion angle is facing slightly upwards when sitting on the ground, at full droop it is lines up with the driveshaft , it does have a Double cardon setup on the transfer case side . My question is having the pinion angle facing...

Hi all , my rear leaf springs mounts ( front mounts) look like they are bent causing the shackles not to look square. So tomorrow I'm finally going to repair them. This should not be problem . I plan on posting some pictures . This is on my 69' FJ40

I have a toybox on my 69' FJ40 . I been looking for the stamp nut for replacement it takes 36mm socket. I have a part number 90179-26004 , I don't know if this exactly the right part. Does any one have any info on this ? Thank You Dennis

the motor has 150k , does not burn oil. I removed it out of my FJ40 two weeks ago to do a swap. it also comes with a starter, Flywheel, Center force Clutch and pressure plate. I change the oil every 3000 miles ,Royal Purple, power steering pump, air pump eliminator pulley. and several other...
