No. It's extended to the outer bolt No. It's extended out. Try unscrewing and your inner bolt and mate it too the outer tread and see if that works for you.

That is what I was referring to. I should have explained it in another way. If you want them to match add a washer or washers. Use them like a shim. Cut the washers in half, jb weld and measure the thickness of each one.

Instead of machining down more, why don't you try adding to it. I did something similar recently but that was with 3f-e manifolds.

Here are the pictures I took a few minutes ago. I haven't done an under carriage clean in some time. I rubbed my finger across the stainless and it actually brightened up. I was comparing those pictures to now and my wheels look like crap. I have to do something about it.

When I get home I can take some pics. Overall I'm pretty happy with everything. No exhaust leaks which I like. Only when going to the Sierras would be the only time i encounter salt. I wash all my cars before going and when coming back so really no issues.
