What did you do on your 70 series today?

I know, hard to tell which one gave out and which doing its job. 🤪 Shout-out to Craig over at Cruiser Parts for making sure I didn't waste my time with wrong part number (27060-67010-A).

KZJ78 Front Brakes & Rotors (VIDEO)

Sorry late here, betting you got it figured, but I used a sacrificial lug nut - treaded on to protect the treads, put the rotor up on a few 4x4s and gave it some good solid 'taps' with flat end of large ball peen; a little p-oil wouldn't hurt first to loosen up. Don't be shy, they'll give...

Guide: Toyota RS3200 - adding keyless entry

First, big thank you OP - awesome detail and links to info. Second, man, this is tough... hopeful someone here has given this a go and has some tips. Taking all the same approach, just skipping the OEM connectors because those are about 1,000x overpriced and going with well insulated...

Front Diff / Trans. Skid Plate KZJ78

Any reason to keep / replace the fire fabric (assume that is what is is?) Maybe just sound / vibration reducing? Anyone have good source of need to keep? Could see just cutting to size.

    headlight pigtail question

Pigtail usually for factor auxiliary or fog lights (at least in the case of my KZJ78). Not ideal, but I typically change all bulbs out in pairs, might try switching it with other side to confirm just a bulb matching problem.

    KZJ78 Wheel / Tire Advice

Here is a few other shots - front; just have the one wheel/tire combo right now to see how looked, if I put on rear will share. Comes right out with start of the flare, which is the look, feel was going for for a skinnier than 10.5s.

    KZJ78 Wheel / Tire Advice

Awesome rig! Someday when mine graduates from a daily to a project it'll be a big boi like yours, until then looking like the 255s might be best route. Have one order to see how fits. Appreciate the advice!

    EGR Delete 1kzte

2 VSVs, VSV 1 is connected to chamber A of the actuator and VSV 2 is connected to chamber B of the actuator There's three running scenarios: 1) EGR valve is closed resulting in air with no exhaust gases; in that scenario ECU is not sending a signal to either of these VSVs so you have no...

    KZJ78 Wheel / Tire Advice

Thanks Mr. Grove - seems like you answer this questions once every couple months so appreciate you taking the time to respond. Makes sense; 33 a bit big for my use - but shifting to a 265 would give it around 11.2in (splits difference more or less). Plus the wheel I do have mounted on is...

    KZJ78 Wheel / Tire Advice

Moving forward on locking down wheel tire / combo for my '94. Got a single spare right now to see what looks best; looking for thoughts. Going skinny with steelies. 235-85r16 (Faulken Wild Peak), early 2000s Toyota steelies (-33 offset). Feel like could go a bit bigger and with my fender...
