Your right. I also found that the vacuum line going from the purge part of the charcoal canister to the vacuum control valve was unhooked at vacuum control valve side.

im taking my EGR valve off. But its caked with rust. Im trying to take this line off but its starting to strip and now im questioning if im turning it the right way or not clockwise or counterclockwise to take off?

They welded the exhaust and then put JB weld over the actual welding.

Its actual welding but on top of that they covered it in JB weld.
