Doesn't CruiserMatt sell the round connectors? And someone else, does too... One of the electric guys from the 40 forums, Coolerman maybe?
When i was fixing my 80 pickup at of folks suggested cutting out the Toyota connector and substituting this style, with however many connectors you need...
Still no joy, I slapped a generic fuel filter on it for now, hopefully someone has a Pic of the location on a early fj60.

I think I've got it mostly hooked back up from the diagrams in another post , but I can't seem to find the filter that the thinner line off the distributor gets connected to.
Where would I find it in the truck? The image looked like it should be on the fire wall behind the Dist. or maybe up...
I was swapping the vent lines on the charcoal canister, and noticed these loose vac lines tucked underneath it.
Are these just connected to the breather underneath the canister, or do they go somewhere else?

Then I guess I'll not bother with the tutorial, it's a lot more work than just doing one for myself.I'd never have used the Amazon leather, I just used it to make this more accessible to folks who've never done this kind of thing. I have plenty of good stretchy leather that works effortlessly...
I had a few failures trying to get the grip diameter to match my leather stretch on a 70mm piece, using the cheap Amazon leather, ripping the leather on my second attempt, so I went back to basics, a 65mm, 70mm and 75mm test piece, because I bought new leather that is much stretcher, 65mm worked...

If the 85 still has glass tube fuses, take them out one by one, clean the contacts with fine sand paper and replace with brand new fuses.. 9n my fj40 this fixed 80% of my weird electrical gremlins.. First thing I did on the 60.
