This is a long shot for the hive mind.
Trying to find m8*1.25 nylock JIS nuts in stainless
Beemetric has them in zinc.
McMaster Carr had the bolts, but not the nuts
My stainless battery trays use. the m8 JIS toyota nut on one end of the hold down, and a 1/2" sae hold down bolt and nylock nut on the other... Because of this I need 2 different 12 point sockets to remove the battery.
Im cleaning up the wiring to make battery swaps less annoying while I'm in here... I thought this would be an easy swap new bolt new nut done.
Yes I know 6 point is better here, but the kit I keep in the truck is 12point.
Really any kind of locknut will do, just want vibration safety
(which is probably covered by the flex in the hold down arm, but I'm scratching my ocd here)
I replaced the hold down bolt with an m8 one, currently my plan is, a m8 JIS, stainless flange nut with either a lock washer or threadlock.
Which is probably fine, but It had a nylock nut on it. So both of these feel like a downgrade...
Anyone know, a source?
