Ahhh gotcha. Good to know. So I should probably aim for a little less boost to up the power, without getting into working around the cpu. I went with a KnN cone, so theoretically I shouldn't run into that. Famous last words! haha

I had read online, maybe even somewhere on this forum, that 14 was the high limit of the fuel cutoff, and when you hit 15 that's when it'd happen... will have to read up on it some more I guess. What is it about the cone that makes you uneasy? Moisture/water intake?

Good morning, Ladies and Gents. I'm thinking that it's time to address the injectors in my Rig. Re conditioning the existing OEM ones seems to be a desired option, but the time involved in sending it in to a shop, removal, sending them somewhere to address (Assuming they don't do it on site)...

Ohh I know that part, just wondering if there was an agreed upon size, brand, model etc for an intercooler that best fits the job. All the piping and hole cutting is custom, but wondering on the actual intercooler itself.

G'Day, all knowing brethren. So the general consensus is that for the KZJ78, a front mount intercooler does the best job. Is there an agreed upon intercooler that is the best fit for the job? I brought in my rig to a place here on Vancouver Island to get the job done, and the kit they brought...

I'm wondering if there would be a range of egt temps based on where the pyrometer is installed? Could some locations give higher or lower readings than others? Boring question, I know, but have always wondered how wide that range could be.... Thanks! B

Still looking at this, and wondering if you think that installing a hood scoop would eliminate the heat soak aspect of a top mount? I don't love the idea of cutting into that hood, but given the ease of the install etc, I wouldn't be opposed to it. Thanks, GTSS!

Hey Pal! I'm in neutral on this one... got the exhaust, egr delete and stereo all sorted, and now I need to figure this part out. All the info I'm getting says to do a front mount for access to cool clean air, but I don't like the way they look on the truck, and I do like the look of the hood...
