I am going to have them replaced come the first of the year and while doing so is there anything else that the mechanic needs to do while in there? Thanks for your help as always.
My mechanic just told me that my right front wheel bearing has some play in it. (It has a shemmy to it) My question is does it need to be replaced, just what is involved, do I do both at the same time.? Are the parts expensive and do I need to order them from Dubai? He will not do the job...
I had rather sell the whole unit to one person and let them use what they want off it or send it off to be refurbished. I sent mine to a place in california and had it reworked, that is the one that is now in my 95 cruiser.
I am not interested in parting mine out as it can be sent off and made brand new again. I would entertain selling the whole unit, just not pieces off it. I still have to see if I can locate it.
on my 95 model I only had one paint code. I guess it is quite possible that the 40th anniversary edition had two colors. Those are the only paint codes that I have. Best of luck to you
What I have found for me and so far it works really good and by far the cheapest way out if just to cut the radio up a little louder. Works every time !!!!!!!!!!!
I have found that the SEM 39143 Trim Black (spray can) works for most anything you can trim out on a cruiser. Amazon has an ample supply or your local paint store.
I had mine painted, here are the paint codes, now mine look like they came off the showroom floor. As far as the mud flaps I just bought new ones or you can get a can of spray paint.
