These measurements with the mods listed in the OP may be helpful for comparison to the stock angles. Anyone willing to measure this? Shouldn't need much more than some string or a yard stick and a protractor.

I agree with both statements here. When mine failed it was while driving from an obvious issue. Hard to believe it broke while sitting still. Also my trans failed completely and the transfer case was 100% fine.

Update: I went for the reman trans option from Street Smart Transmission. Will provide some info in here once I know exactly what the final cost with install ends up being. The 3 year warranty swayed me as I want to be able to drive the vehicle as intended and not have to worry about this...
