Hah!! I just got a ZF OBD1 Reader - got the OBD1 plug and went to plug in - - that little metal jumper (lower right when looking at it in engine bay) got in the way - fell out. Wierd. Do you know what that's for? ABS? AND.... @Norseman12 how is the ZF reader working? did you install in engine...

Removed it, capped it at the intake. the metal line is still there, but nothing is attached to it.

I'm at a real quandary - buy a new pump for $270 from McGeorge and just 'send it' since all hoses are getting replaced, then rebuild my pump and sell online for $100 or so.... or take the time to rebuild while the truck is down. It's my DD right now and I think I'm going to buy the new pump...

I'm getting ready to rebuild my power steering pump, but having second thoughts. $345 for new OEM pump.... or do I use the Gates rebuild kit I already have, the new bear, new OEM gasket?? Will the Gates rebuild kit fail soon? anyone have any experience with it?

Andolini's on Main may be a great option - large, open seating, outside even (if it's nice). Kids definitely allowed :) BA Brewery only has food trucks by it - otherwise just beer (unless they've added food in the last year). Main Street Tav is nice - not sure of the crowd it could handle...

Thanks for replying.... do you park yours in the garage? any fuel smell? and - are you venting to the stock location down low?

How is it running now that you went through summer? (pinging this thread).... I'm considering pulling the VSV, canister, all of that 'stuff' but want to make sure I don't cause a problem I don't have now.

BTW - to whom ever finds this thread.... the 'good info' on PAIR and EGR is on this thread (start here:) removing the egr and pair vsv's
