Maybe it's only on rigs with ABS? I'll try to remember to check my 92 (no ABS) today.
Also: So what happens if you try to drive without it?
I too noticed the same jumper when trying to plug in the adapter I have wired up to a ZF OBD1Reader. Did you notice anything happen when you removed the jumper pin?It's permanently in place.
It would easily not be seen. Only reason i knew it was there was because i was trying to plug in a universal OBD11 reader cable
Hah!! I just got a ZF OBD1 Reader - got the OBD1 plug and went to plug in - - that little metal jumper (lower right when looking at it in engine bay) got in the way - fell out. Wierd. Do you know what that's for? ABS?
