So I finally got around to doing it this past weekend. I tried it just by crawling under the truck but it was just way too tight to move around under there. I bough a pair of rhino rack ramps ($45) and that gave me additional 6 inches of clearance to work with. I tried and tried to unscrew it...
That would be great if i have other places to bolt down on it. I'll check for the missing bolts. I'm planning on pulling it out this weekend to try the epoxy and fiberglass mesh anyway. If I can at least replace the missing bolts that'll give enough support so there shouldn't be as much...
interesting. although i don't think it works well for this case. There's just not enough plastic material or room for enough stitches to make it sturdy.
Hi all,
I just discovered that the plastic under body engine cover is broken on my LX470.
As you can see the plastic split all the way through from the part that's attached to the vehicle. I'm not sure how it happened but it's the same on both sides. so this piece is just dangling freely...
i was more concerned about clearances. if for some reason the 14" length of the wrench wont be able to move in the tight space to loosen the switch. the spray lube is good idea though. Also is it advisable to add some sort of anti seize to the new switch's threads before installing it?
Uh oh.. I've already ordered the part and a 27mm wrench... unfortunately someone on that thread said it was important to use a 12" 27mm wrench. I didn't even think about the length. the wrench i ordered is 14" long. Oh well.. I'll see how it goes.
i read all the posts in this thread but I didn't find an answer for my particular case. I have a 2000 LX470 and i'm having the same problem. On a couple occasions I have bumped the CDL button by accident and don't notice my center diff is locked until it starts to drive strange. I simply...
I hadn't considered adding a fender trim to allow for an even larger spacer. I probably would have gone for it otherwise. I bet having the wider stance looks awesome. Any noticeable difference when turning?
Yup! It took a while but I finally got this done a week ago. Slee was out of stock of the rear spacers for about a month so I had to wait till they had them before ordering both the front and rear sets. I went with the spidertrax 1.25" which is is what most people including folks at Slee...
Thanks. I modified the search to "TRD Pro 100 Series" Most of the threads didn't have my specific situation. I think I found one poster on this thread that did: 200 Series and Tundra wheels on 100 series photo thread
Messaging them to see if the wheels came from a 2020 Tundra TRD Pro. It...
This is the 200 forum 😂
But I'm certain you need some spacers. Look into the spidertrax, they have a set with cutouts that fit over your hub bolts.
