    +1 to completely bypassing the radiator in order to avoid cross contamination, very common issue with our Ford Falcons here in Australia. Are you able to get a hold of a larger/more efficient trans cooler and fan? If she's running that hot would it be unreasonable to mount a second trans cooler...

    Any good auto shop will carry various shaped and sized (with bends etc) coolant lines & will likely be much cheaper than OEM replacements.
