SOLD Portland Oregon - 1993-1994 OBD1 cylinder head and cams

Replaced my head with a new to me from a member in Socal. This is my old head, no obvious cracks or pitting. In good shape. My truck has 300K miles. My truck passed a block tester but I sent my oil off to blackstone and they diagnosed a minor head gasket leak. That led to the replacement. In...

Replacing body mounts with a full set of new factory ones (no lift).

Completed this job in the past week. In my garage, no lift. Two jacks are handy. Pulling seats is a must and some various plastic parts to pull carpet back. I would buy all new hardware. I have a PNW truck and my hardware was in bad shape, I had to cut both #2 bolts to remove. Little hands and...

    Intermittent Starting Problems

Agree with @BILT4ME - previous owner of my LC put in a direct start button because of a failing alarm. I removed the alarm and it no longer needs the direct start. Alarm first if you suspect that and then start on the basics.

1993 3x Locked Budget Restoration - Ranch to Road Worthy - Advice Welcomed!

The thing closest to you that is black is the fuel filter, annoying to replace but easy enough to throw and wrench on and see if tight. It has banjo bolts/copper washers that are one time use so if you replace make sure you get new. The orange/pink tipped thing above and below your intake...

    Exhaust question

Ah good to know, thank you for the reply. I’ve been wanting to check my cat as it is original and the truck has 310K. I’ll see about gauging up, good call.

    Exhaust question

Good morning all - Crawling around under my ‘94 tracing out fuel circuit and noticed the attached pinch on my exhaust. This is post cat, in the last run of exhaust before exit, right where it runs between frame and body. I showed this to my dad and he didn’t think it was a huge deal… to me it...

Build 1994 Triple Locked Island Cruiser Build

Yeah I’ve changed those and they ohm out just fine as well. I’ve been through the wiring for them and it was intact with no shorts. Relocated to the PAIR ports too. It’s been a real struggle, I haven’t turned a wrench in a few months because of schedule and I get so frustrated with no progress...

    FZJ80 crank holding tool

Barring one of our techs needing it, I should be able to check out the wrench after work tomorrow. I have some family in town this weekend and am busy Sunday AM. Let me know when you are ready to crank that thing down this weekend and I’ll try to make it over. Alternately we could work Monday...
