    Mock up F block??

Nope. I’ve never even found a small F engine to print just for fun. Maybe a 2FE would work (I have one in my 1/10th rock crawler), but printing a full size engine would take a ton of filament. I saw someone on YouTube do this for a Ferrari F40 with a custom cage. I can’t imagine needing to do...

    71 Windshield Defrost Gaskets

New part, updated dimensions and improved fitment. I’ll print this in TPU next week when I get a new roll.

    71 Windshield Defrost Gaskets

You would know better than I, is there in fact a separate piece attached to the window frame openings? See the orange part I made. It seems to me that part was really well attached to the frame and not part of the "window cushion". It didn't tear off or anything, it was connected to the window...

    71 Windshield Defrost Gaskets

Thanks, yea I noticed that in your photo and when I test fit it onto the window. The side closest to the glass is a bit narrower than the 10mm flange. I am going to adjust that, but I don't have dimensions. I might be able to dig some scraps out of my shop vac. Could you possibly tell me the...

    71 Windshield Defrost Gaskets

Here it is. Now I just need to fine tune a couple things and decide what material to print it in.

YES! That is the piece, that part is seemingly impossible to find, and mine is in 100 pieces now as it only came of bit by bit.

    71 Windshield Defrost Gaskets

I'm not sure if they come with the one from SOR, but there are gaskets that go in the openings on the actual window frame, which are not show in any diagrams. Since that #9 gasket is $200! I purchased the custom after market one from Cruiser Corps. I am printing a part I designed this morning...

    1971 In-Tank Fuel Pump/EFI Questions (newb)

The drain plug is at the lowest point of the tank, in theory it should be able to suck out every last drop of fuel. Even better than an in-tank electric pump that isn't properly positioned with the pick-up near the drain plug.

    71 Windshield Defrost Gaskets

Has anyone ever replaced the two seals on the bottom of the windshield for the defrost openings? Mine were crusted and I removed them, not realizing I couldn’t find a single part or reference to them on the internet. I do have the skills to design and 3D print parts. So I may make them out of...

    1971 In-Tank Fuel Pump/EFI Questions (newb)

Really interesting, thanks for the perspective. Not super interested in hearing the whine of a fuel pump in the cab.

What Color is my ‘71 40?

This is T-1453 Olympus White. Almost a perfect match to my body color. I’m now 99% sure the bright white stuff is not Olympus White. I got excited to test this can and only have pictures under garage light. Looks even better to the eye, than the camera. I can take some during the day this week.

    1971 In-Tank Fuel Pump/EFI Questions (newb)

Totally understandable. I mean, it's been running for 55 years just fine :). I could be getting caught up in hype around electronic fuel injection. I just assumed it's a set it and forget it thing. No choke, no jets, no rich/lean, etc... combined with an electronic ignition, it just does it's...

    1971 In-Tank Fuel Pump/EFI Questions (newb)

What is the reasoning? Are the snipers just too much trouble with software and electronics? Managing the computer system, calibration and all that?
