I fitted Hilux callipers on mine, I reckon they give about 25% more surface area and have significantly improved braking performance. In the UK it's callipers from the mark 4 or 5, not sure what the equivalent would be in the US but it's late 90s to early 2000s

Hi all I need an alternator for the 24v 2H engine, the one with the built in voltage regulator and the plug for the electrics. Doesn't matter if it works as long as it is complete. can anyone help?

The 2H is the one for mileage! 211000 on mine but I've heard of many that have done 500000+

I try and park with the steering turned and the rig in an awkward spot so they can't winch it onto a truck easilly. They would need a crane to get it out my drive!!

Went to replace what I thought was going to be a faulty clutch slave, as a replacement was only fitted 3 months ago, only to discover it’s the master! 3 week delivery for a replacement part When I bleed the system do I bleed it from the slave? Here’s the sorry state of the master!

I used split rims in Africa and regretted every minute of it, punctures galore! I would go steels with a puncture repair kit, less weight as well. You don't need lockers in the desert, just air your tyres down (for which a good air compressor is a godsend) but they could be useful somewhere like...

did mine and the rad on the HJ60 a while back, the hoses were a bitch but I figured it took so much effort getting them off I couldn't guarantee they weren't damaged so I replaced them. Bite the bullet and change them.
