Got out for a shake down run to make sure the 37's didn't rub and see how she flexes. Happy thus far with stage 1.

Well a couple of weekends and week days of grinding, cutting & welding on the rig and we now are on 37's. Fabbed up some sliders and are a few steps closer to finishing up phase 1 of this build.. Phase 2 will include locker, regear Phase 3 will be SAS or Portals and 40's :cool:

Stage one of the build continues, Icon Billet UCA's with 8112's up front & coachmaster spacers. 5100 out back with Icon Add a leaf. Got everything installed except the UCA's as they where boxed with the incorrect dust caps and hime spacers... Bummer. Looks like UCA's go on next weekend...

The build has started... Installed an ARB, had to custom fit my Warn Zeon 12S. That process took longer than expected as I didn't want to lift it and then have to remove it to trim / fit. Then needed to tension the line, 2500 came in hand for that and a steep driveway. Also Installed my LP6's...

Got my radios and SPOD transferred over and installed, slowly starting to ramp this build up... :)

Thanks for pointing out the hood, didn't consider if it would clear. I mean it should, and the profile of the hood isn't that much different. I think the fenders will be the tricky part.

I did truck stuff... We went out and found a tree and then I got some throttle therapy. I tried to have some forrest road fun in the Tundy but it became very clear after 230K the suspension needs some serious love. The build list keeps growing... A few weeks back I installed some Amazon...

Here is a bit more, I've narrowed down the "ping" to be coming from the starter. I think its safe too say the starter is toast or stuck. I've tried to get a few good wack's on the back of the case without any luck at a different result. The buzz seems to be the throttle body opening for...

Ok, a bit more. I've ruled out the starter relay by jumping the pins. Same result that would lead me to think it's the starter, what a PITA as I see they are not easy to get access to. Man I miss my 80... :-P. Ok, headed down the path towards a OEM starter, any one have a good online factory...

Related or unrelated... So topping off the battery and still trying to get the rig to start without any luck, but when I turn the key to run, and then leave it in that run position I hear a loud "buzz and old modem sound" from the top side of the engine. I thought it was the starter but sounds...

Well, I’ve had the battery off the tender now for about a week with multiple tries at starting, so I expect it’s down a bit. Thanks for help, just hate to drop $200 on a battery or starter to only find it’s something else.

12V, drops below to 11V when trying to start. Battery on tender now, I’ve tried to jump without any luck, all lights bright and work, heater fan blows strong.
