Tried it on the JDM one mate, couldn't get it to control A/C at all. The new one is also a VX Limited but an import from NZ - it came with the 3 dial setup but also has auto settings like a climate control unit, has an older Alpine unit already installed which i'll be swapping into the better...

I'm sure they have good units however my current experience has been pretty bad. They're unable to workout why its not working and want me to send the unit back after they confirmed it was plug and play for me. Pretty disappointing

At this point I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. I'm going to try and see if an auto electrician can take a look. Audio and everything working fine but the aircon controls aren't working at all currently.

I'm currently installing mine and going through it with the manufacturer via whatsapp. Can you let me know how you went? Currently have audio but no hvac.

Howdy! Just checking in on this, I've recently imported a 1999 VX Limited from Japan and my dimming wheel is completely missing! there's a blank plate in the spot it's meant to be. I've yet to go searching for the plug but thought it was super weird.

I've just pulled the trigger on this purchase! I'll report back once it arrives.

I went ahead and emailed them the picture you supplied and they confirmed it's compatible with there one. I think its a super nice looking unit. Comes with a free reverse camera also.
