So folks, I think its about time I did another post.
My partner and I importer a 100 series from Japan earlier in the year which turned out to be completely full of rust, I'd purchased this through a so called 'friend'. Luckily we got majority of our money back minus 5k or so in registration and new tyres plus some genuine parts id already installed.

Fast forward a month or two and we found this, a 1998 VX Limited that was imported per

sonally into Australia in 2006 by its first owner, a builder from NZ as far as I know. It has the 1HDFTE, and being the earliest model, no EGR which I'm happy about. Setup for towing, heavy duty rear springs with airbags, Ironman foam cell shocks all round with upgraded torsion bars. 3inch stainless exhaust from the turbo back with a small muffler (sounds unreal with some right foot). It comes with some quirky features such as left hand side indicators, heated front seats, automatic climate control via the dials, and full leather plus the rad decals which im yet to see on another 100 in Aus.

It was only used to tow a race car once a year by the original owner and came with documentation for EVERYTHING that's been done.

Im currently doing an 06 facelift and waiting on parts which should be here by the end of the week. Ive also removed the bullbar and winch. Will update with more pics in a following post.

Its easily the best car I've ever owned and I smile every time I drive it.

Absolutely wrapped with how it came up, its a later model bumper that i picked up locally for $50 including the foglights. The car still has the factory fog light relays and connects intact however the stalk doesn't have the foglight switch, so I've got one coming that has the factory switch, and I'm hoping that it'll be a simple swap in to get them functional.
