i'm a honda (33years) mechanic and we have a toyota dealership in our group. the owner has a restored fj40 that sits in the show room. after 10 years of sitting he decided to get it running, needless to say, none of the guys wanted anything to do with it. i said i would love to and did. :steer:

what rust?? in my opinion 80's have the best cruiser frame out of all of them. i'd look at the body, rockers, tailgate mounts, etc.

as i said before, on amazon, search grandpa gus rodent repell pruducts. it works great. i'm 30 year mechanic and 15 year owner of rvs. it works.

sorry to tell you, the rodent tape does not work.
