FZJ80 horn issue.

Good day i'm pretty new to this forum so i hope i'm posting this in the right place...

i have got a 96 FZJ80 and have issues with my horn, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't hoot at full capacity. Is this a common problem or does the electrical connections just need to be cleaned? If so is it a hassle to take of the steering wheel airbag to check connections?

Removing the steering wheel is pretty simple, but I would reseat the horn relay in the relay box on the left fender as a first step.
Download the Toyota factory service manual and electronic wiring diagrams (FSM and EWD) from the resources section.
They are invaluable and will answer 90% of your questions.
