6’ but I’m also not using the stock seat risers, the frame I have is atleast an inch taller than the factory which I’m working on having chopped down. My dad is 6’2 and his head is in the roof with the current configuration
I don’t know anything about the rally, I know the procar90 are comfortable but too high profile on the seat part. I will be cutting down my frame and putting a groove on the gas tank so they will fit.
If you can find stock seats that is the direction I would go if i could do it again
I think that’s what I’ll be doing to the SOR I purchased. The fabric quality is nice and I think it’s worth upgrading to fit better.
I’m curious would you need to remove the front channel in order to install the hard top again? Or would it fit over the channel? Rookie question
Oh I have no idea, I’ve been thinking some things were factory on this thing to turn around and be proven wrong again and again. I do know it aligns with my buddy’s factory B bar.
Currently it’s tied down to the custom made rack in the back just for tension, I’ll be installing some loops once...
After some research, I bought a Spector of road family top, I just installed it and the material is nice but the measurement seems incorrect. Where the straps are supposed to connect they completely miss my B bar.
I may have an upholstery shop correct it but at that point 300$ plus the...
If I was gonna do this again, I would cut the seat frame down until it touched the top of the gas tank. I might even put a groove into the gas tank for one of the bars to fit in. I don’t mind the seat height right now with an inch cut off of the frame that I bought from Bill. However, if I think...
After finding out about the differences between seat mounting systems between the bench vs bucket I wish I had a 74 cruiser or such. I used the procar 90 series seats. I may have a shop cut down the frame another inch and groove the gas tank to make them fit but after cutting the frame down...
Not bad, seats sit a little high even after cutting down the new frame about an inch. I’m gonna drive it around for a while and see if I can deal. If it’s bothering me I’ll probably have a fab shop cut and couple the frame down another inch in the back and crush the gas tank a little bit.
This was a great thread for me, I assumed all early model doors were the same but it turns out I purchased complete doors from a 63 or older cruiser. Oh well, if I can’t get them to fit up I’ll se them. Can’t find the handles to save my life
