Not sure if this helps, but I used this plate from Redline on my desmogged 79 2F to cover the EGR port and re-add the PCV port where it belongs. Like yours, the PO had used a solid plate that deleted both.

You hit up Cruiser outfitters for the part yet? They may have one in Stock.
