HDJ70 Fully Built 70 Series
I purchased this from a mud member a few years ago and spent the last few years replacing the motor and going through it. Putting it up for sale here first. Been driving it for the past few months and it is a blast. One of my favorite land cruisers I've owned or built, truly one of a kind.

1986 LEFT HAND DRIVE BJ70 with 1HD-FT
Completely built BJ70 hardtop with every extra you could ever want for a landcruiser. An absolute unicorn - not only a super short hardtop BJ70 model, but also Left Hand Drive, 12volt, 1HD-FT swapped, Cable lockers, PTO winch, etc.
1HD-FT Engine - this motor was swapped by Fit Garage in 2025. It starts, idles and runs like new.
The motor was gone through with ACL bottom end bearings, all seals, gaskets, a rebuilt injection pump by Oregon Fuel Injection. The turbo was upgraded with a G-Turbo, along with an intercooler from PDI Australia. A Torfab Diesel Airbox was also added.
The motor is monitored both by a fully functioning gauge cluster(swapped and rebuilt for new motor) and Auber gauges to monitor Boost, EGT Temps, Oil Pressure and Coolant temp. Over $20K invested into the motor and associated parts.
A brand new factory 1HZ motor harness was swapped in with the motor. The engine bay looks and is wired as factory.
Clutch is a heavy duty Aisin kit with 300mm flywheel.
CABLE LOCKING DIFFERENTIALS - swapped from HJ61 - front and rear full float. Indicator lights on dash cluster work with lockers.

The frame is 100% rust free. The body shows well but has been repainted - the body has lived a good life for 40+ years and shows accordingly.

Cluster shows 28,xxx. Actual chassis mileage unknown.
