Finally time to sell the family hauler/Tahoe Cruiser. We have owned this 1999 100 series for probably 20 years and it has been the most reliable car we have ever owned. It is getting a bit long in the tooth, but still a fantastic vehicle.
Last I checked it was a 325,xxx miles. Has had a gentle life as a mall and Tahoe cruiser, off road only once in my ownership
The good
Owner maintained. Long time IH8Mud member. Drives well and would drive across the country right now.
Factory center and rear diff locks. (No pin 7 mod yet)
AC blows cold, including rear AC.
No accidents (in my ownership)
California rust free car. (well one tiny bit but read on) and some surface rust on the muffler.
Spare set of stock wheels (with ancient snow tires)
OME rear springs that I never installed
Tow hitch and air bag helper springs and Tekonsha brake controller.
Spare set of headlights for an upgrade that never happened.
Recovered steering wheel in black leather, but will include the original.
Includes 3rd row seats.
The bad
Sunroof no longer opens, but the sunroof drains can still be cleared by unbolting the sunroof panel.
Passenger front seat leather needs replacement. It has split along seams.
Clearcoat is gone on the hood and some of the roof.
Due for a timing belt service.
Tiny chip around the windshield which has rusted into a pinhole needs to be fixed. I had been waiting till I needed a windshield.
Date codes on the Michelin tires are getting long in the tooth.
