1982 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ42 (Canadian Model)
28K Cad (20K USD) but open to offers obviously, so let's chat.
I’ve owned this truck for many years and have had many great memories in this. Unfortunately life changes forces me to sell + a HUGE collection of parts to restore this to it’s former glory with some tasteful modifications (most are period correct!). The parts took years of research and acquisition. At the moment I’d like to try and sell everything as a package and find the next custodian instead of splitting apart.
The Truck:
1982 BJ42 diesel. 4 speed manual, manual hubs, front seats redone, optima batteries, 24V system. It’s in fair shape if I’m honest, body has usual Toyota rust as does the frame, however I can count on firing it up and driving for an hour with no issues. Lights, horn, heater work. Front seats are redone with new foam and covers from Specter Off Road.
The PARTS:
Body Parts :I’ve acquired another 82’ BJ42 and took it apart to salvage and catalog parts. Includes some body parts – no healthy tub unfortunately but they can now be obtained fairly easily from several sources. Parts include doors with good glass and hardware, top, near perfect barn doors, windshield frame and cowl. New owner can decide what to get and what to scrap/sell. My plan was to acquire a fresh ¾ tub and reuse doors, top and cowl.
Mechanical –
I don't want to part out yet, would prefer to sell as a package.
Easiest is to email me at konradjk@yahoo.com and we can go from there. Clean title in my name.
