1976 FJ55. Fully rebuilt body about 20 years ago. New steel on a rust free frame. Recently had a full $15,000 paint job. Currently rust free.
New window and door gaskets. New old stock OEM windshield.
2F was refurbished with Mosley head with LS valves, header and DUI ignition. Holley Sniper fuel injection. Custom aluminum radiator. Power steering. Vintage Air AC
Warn 8000 winch with steel bumpers front and rear. 2x3 integrated steel sliders/rockers. Old school roof rack.
Interior is 90% with FJ40 bucket seats. Shoulder belts. Good headliner. Good door and cargo panels. Console.
The good:
The paint guy did a really good job. I’d give it 4.5 stars.
Interior is really good for a pig. Very complete.
Engine is strong. AC is cold. PS is smooth.
All new gaskets and weatherstripping has it with a very solid feel. I installed a new clean fuel tank in it about 18 months ago. Remarkably rust free pig.
The bad:
It’s a Pig. Pigs are all ****ed one way or another.
Rear window works but the guides are bad so you have to help it by hand
It needs a good gauge bezel. This one is coming unglued
