"The Man" had been keeping me down lately and the previous weekend trip to Log Corral had the outdoors calling me this past Sunday. In CSC fashion, I made a last minute decision to go to Sheeps Bridge and placed a few calls. FTBshop, Medtro, Murf and I all took a day trip ( out by 8am back by 4 pm) just to have some time outdoors.

Jackson and Matt had cameras so I am hoping they will add a few pictures. We saw now bikini clad hawtness or submarined Ram pickups but it was a beautiful day anyway. Matt had a seat back malfunction that required a field repair using our jumper cables and cotter pins, while Jackson struggled with an overly warm engine as we climbed out of Bloody Basin.

Novice dirt driver, 17 year old Andrew, dunked the nose of FTBshops cruiser, which I caught on their camera and should be a fond memory for the future. Yes, still waters run deep.

In all a great day, great friends and I didn't think once about how the man was keeping me down.

Sounds like good times had by all despite the lack of hawtness spotting. I would have joined but I was returning from a long night of wheeling at the Spook Rally. Hope to catch the next run.

It was indeed a great day - the temps were perfect and I brought my dog along who thouroughly enjoyed herself. The fishing werent biting but that was better than being harrased by the man! :D

Good times - thanks for the call Saddletramp

Thanks for a great trip Saddletramp. Pictures are at http://photobucket.com/sheeps_bridge_2011. Here are a few.

Nice pics, guys! Looks like great fun by all...They look sweet all lined up in formation under the bridge.

In the one picture of Murf and I you can see his shirt was making this Arizona Wildcat sick and needing to look away. Then of course he was laughing at my girth when he asked " what does your gut tell you about fixing this seat". :crybaby:

Pictures don't lie, my gut had a lot to say!

McGuyver wouldve been proud!

FTBshop's 80 had the seat cover catch on the recline switch and recline the seat all the way. The switch was bad and wouldnt work in the "seat back forward" position. Out came the seat, and with some Jumper cables on Medtro's truck, Saddletramp used some gator clips and cotter pins to fashion a 12 volt source to the motor and got the seat back up to normal position.

Of course there was the occasional spark when the cotter pins touched and there were some remarks about "Micro Battery Welding"

Oh, by the way I figured out what my dog was trying to tell you...GO SUNDEVILS!

:) Nice field fix!

Clint Eastwood clearly represents Arizona's First University in that video.

as Michael commented on another occasion: "you Toyota people break weird s***"

Looks like it was a nice trip. I hate that I couldn't make it. Although, I'm not sure my cruiser would have made it across with the stock 31s.

Two of the trucks had 33's and they made it with no problems. We will catch up with you when things get back to normal.

33's are on the agenda. Maybe a new set of gears eventually!
