I looked in the ARB catalog for some OME leaves to cure 4Runner sag for an '87 and found only lifted springs, any one know if OME has a stock height heavy or maybe even a 1"? Usually when I think high quality springs & tiny lift OME comes to mind. Who else have you guys used?

Alcan are the only springs that I'm aware of (other than OEM) that are 0" lift. My OME's are around 3" but they ride really well!

Let me clarify. You can buy Alcan's any way you want them. I didn't mean to imply that they were all 0", just that you can get them made that way.

I put a set of 2" Downey springs on my '86. Leveled it right out, but is settling some now after about 2 years. I plan to extend the shackles an inch or so to make up for it. Hopefully the Downey's will stop "settling" at some point. They ride fine and were cheap. I knew about the sag issue beforehand but don't regret. .02

.02 taken, thanks Theo & WarDamnEagle. This 4runner belongs to an FJ40 jockey who has had lots of luck with OME's and I think he went with the 2" springs that they show in the ARB book. This is supposed to be a DD that will save some fuel money and wear & tear on his '40. I guess we'll see what it looks like when the springs come in.

That did come up, and actually with the stock 235's I think that it would look better too, but you know how hard it is to talk someone into lowering their new truck. At any rate I think his '40 gets something like 11 or 12 mpg so this 4runner is going to seem really economical to him.

To cure my 4runner sag, I squeezed a stock set of Jeep TJ Front Coil springs between the spring and the frame. Sits in there really nice.
