I spilled a large cup of coffee( filled with heavy whipping cream) right near the shifter and along the driver side flooring.
Ofcourse, the rubber mats that I just bought did not catch any of it....Im afraid the cream with make this nasty!

What has people used in the past( products, rug cleaner device) to get the cream out.

just capret cleaner does the trick! sorry to hear your lost your coffee :(

With a small amout of effort you can remove the entire carpet and power wash it. I was suprised at the amount of black that came out of mine. use water only when powerwashing imo.

old wives tale

mix dawn dishsoap with peroxide in warm water and gently scrub it out. It removes just about any stain that a human or pet could leave behind.

I agree with dbleon. Take out the front seats (10 minutes) and pull the carpet. Lay it out on the driveway, scrub it with soapy water and rinse it with the hose. There will be evidence of previous spills under the carpet so you will want to wash the floor pans while you have the carpet out. Odds are your rig will smell a lot better when you are done.

scrub with warm soapy water then suck it up with a wet dry shop vac. hopefully you get to it asap or it will be stinky.

That will work...or you can get the Bissell little green machine (i think that is what it is called?)

I got one and it works great for cleaning and detailing cars...you will be surprised how much crap you can suck out of upholstery ....even upholstery that looks clean...

Another vote for removing the carpet to wash it. Take it to a car wash and use the pressure washer.

And quit drinking :princess:'s coffee. :flipoff2:

How bout sue who made the coffee for you and blame it on them for the spilling and collect 10 million dollars, hey it might work.some idiot have done it.:D

thats what i use. that little thing is badass

I did this in my Saab last year.

I've had good luck with Folex. White bottle with purple writing. You can find it in the cleaning supplies at the Home Depot. Spray it on, work it with your fingers and blot with a towel. Cleaned by carpet in my Saab very well, you can also use it on your home carpets. No harsh chemicals, doesn't smell.

I think it was $6, worth a shot.

I work for a Carpet Cleaning company here in Lubbock. I tell ya the best thing you can use if you're not gonna pull the carpet is a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Spray it on and blot it up. The vinegar will kill the smell and the water will rinse the stain without setting it. Once it's dry the vinegar smell will be gone and you'll be good to go. It's cheaper than a soapy cleaner that you can't extract, and if it doesn't come all the way out, it won't set the stain so you can pay someone to professionally get it out. We'd do it for $54.95. Good luck.

Yeah peroxide is bad and soap is worse. Soaps are "ok" but only if you have a way to rinse completely and extract. Otherwise you have a soap residue that just attracts more dirt and grime.
