Hello, a friend told me about this site and looks real cool. My name is Octavio in Montebello SoCal. I am a proud owner of a 88 FJ62 with a 2005 6.0L Lq9 and 4L65 Trans. It also has 35" tires, 4.88 gears, ARB's front and rear. Last Monday I started building an inside roll cage to save my neck since I started wheeling. Here are some pics.

Thank you Dave, I make my living as a fab'er, making custom headers, hot rods and now moved on to Land Cruisers. My goal is to build an expedition vehicle. So I am also working on a custom roof rack to hold some goodies.

cage is looking good, I am guessing the drive train came out of a SSS or a Caddy.

You should not have let us know that. Now we are going to hold your work up to a higher standard.... Look at the INTI rack for inspiration. There are a few threads about them, I do not have one but the people that do, love them. Might give you some ideas.

Thanks, Yes the motor came off either one of those SS or Cadi, great torque, and the millage is not bad it's eating up the birfs at the moment.

As far as inspiration for a roof rack I will use the image that I have in my head. My goal is to make it available for some lucky customers in the future.

Welcome to mud :flipoff2:, thats a great looking cage you've got there, also jealous of the 6.0....as others have said, post up more pics of your rig.

Welcome man!

There are a couple of us that live close to where you say you live/work.

Nice work on that inner cage...very nice.

I'll hopefully be going out to the next L.A. County TLCA meeting next month.

You should go and show us what you have. It'll be my first time going to one too.

Again, welcome :flipoff2:

Thats not a daily limit but a limit to the account. To increase the limits you can buy a star to support mud or create a photobucket or similar account. Then upload your pictures to the account and then link your pictures here.
