I found a way to resurface an old crusty donut...

Pretty happy with them!

Table mounted disc/rotary sander. 80,100,220,320 grit. They look almost new!

Haha...

You haven't seen any because few exist. You see the bumper-ettes, but just with a hole in them for the bolt that holds the rubber cushion.

I haven't seen one on a rig in many many years. They deteriorate.

OK, I've seen the cone shaped ones (Like Madonna's 80's bra) on some South American cruisers, just not these.

Hmmmmm..... were those ever REALLY on U.S. 40's?? I think I would be WISHING for accelerated deterioration. No offense intended.

Never saw any thing similar in all my years fooling with L/Cs. Dont think I want 'em ether.
if that is a factory piece, then somewhere /someone will find a part number for them.

Okay, Now I'm starting to doubt what I have believed to be original...

Someone please dig up a photo of another pair of these. What possibly could those holes have been intended for? Hasn't anyone ever wondered?
