FJ 40 type trailer before and after (1 Viewer)

Hi guys. here'a a rusted trailer sold to us by a previous owner a couple of years ago. really a sorry sight.someone even said it was just worth 50 cents.hehe

now finished phase one of restoration with body repair and new coat of paint.
also added signal lights,etc.

here it is with my 40.

phase to would be wiring up the lights and putting some emblems/insignias
in the rear to complete the package.

suggestions and comments are most welcome.

SAWEEEEET! It's cool knowing there's stuff like that rolling around out there. Totally agree with chevyfj40lc that you should put the emblems on it. Maybe even a factory tire carrier!

I see your trailer tail lamps have the tail lamp protectors, but your FJ40 doesn't. I know this will rile the "product pimping police", but I still have about 6 sets of those protectors left if you want to match the vehicle to the trailer. PM me for more info.

Sweet looking set-up! Your bumperettes are upside down on the trailer. not a big deal, since there isn't a tailgate. Definately a head turner!

ooops....sori about the tail light protectors and bumperettes.hehe
i was actually thinking of making it into a half height trailer-cab
maybe up to bottom of my rear window so i can still see whats behind me.
increased storage and lots of possible options i can think off.

Looks great, I'd put a solid lid with gas struts for easy lifting and mount a roof top tent, I also like the idea of adding factory emblems +/- a spare tire carrier
