Hello Mudmates,
Major transformation took place this weekend. Running boards were repalced with Smittybuilt tubesteps. And Tundra Rockwarrior wheels and 285/70/17 BFG AT KO's were added along with 1&1/4 spacers on the front and 1 inch spacers in the back. I think it looks 17 times better.

before and after

GREAT looking wheels! Congrat's!!!

Congrats! great wheels and tires. Were tube steps by Smittybuilt custom installed to your rig? I don't see Smittybuilt available for Lexus or the Toyota 100. They look good and are an option to the more expensive sliders.:)

Nice, you got the spoiler installed too!

Save your pic's so when you're all finished with your rig, you can post a documentary build up on all you've done.

Thanks Guys,

Smittybuilt discontinued these bars many years ago. (according to Smittybuilt) I bought these used on this forum. Thanks Scott.

And thanks Leo for the spoiler.

Looks good.

But you l need to get out of the parking lot to change the image. :D

Maybe some informal plow pile RTI testing.

Definately a trip to the ORV park is in order. It's too clean right now however........

Will post action pics then............

Those wheels are wicked looking man. Great job. I'd love to score a set of those but jeebus...they ain't cheap!

Now get outta the parking lot and throw an ARB on the front to really lose the mall crawler image! ;)

I like NM's plow pile RTI suggestion. :D

Looks so much better!! The wheels look great!

LJ 24 hit it right on the head. Looks great w/ a white hundy.

Fuzz,

If you keep your eyes peeled you can score a great deal. I paid $900 for this set. The tires have 8k miles on them and are at least 80% It took a month of regular searching on craigslist but it was way worth it. It was a 700 mile round trip. I was able to share the driving w/ my 15 y/o son. He wanted some freeway driving under his belt.

A great way to spend a saturday with your son.........

I am waiting for Slee to make his bumper in Aluminum.....

TLC Dan

Well that is significantly less than I expected, especially w/ tires included. Perhaps after I get my bumpers/sliders done I'll try to find a set of these as a finishing touch. Thanks!

ETA: Unfortunately my oldest son is about 10 years behind yours - he won't be driving for a while. However, the :princess: loves road trips so I'm sure that she and the boys wouldn't mind tagging along. :)

A couple more showing how the spacers put the wheels right out to the end of the wheel well
